Freelance Film (Edinburgh Inspiring Capital) - I chose this video just to show what can be made using very little preparation and at very short notice.
I was informed by a friend that not only was the Edinburgh Inspiring Capital (racing yacht) going to be making a very short stop at the Leith, Edinburgh docks but that none other than Alex Salmond, the forth First Minister of Scotland, was in attendance also.
So not being one to miss an opportunity, I grabbed one of my brand new cameras literary out of it's box and ran down to the venue.
This was a little bit scary due to not only using the camera for the very first time and having no idea what I was doing, but also having the courage to blag my way into a secure venue just to get the footage I wanted.
Thankfully the blagging worked and I managed to obtain some really nice shots, if somewhat a little 'rushed'. Please note that this is just a short segment of the footage that was taken that day. I'll be sure to upload the full film online at a later date for anyone wishing to view the presentation in it's entirety.
